I checked this book out from the library due to its appearance on the Book Riot list of recommendations for their 2019 reading goal of a book by or about someone that identifies as neurodiverse (the female lead is on the autistic spectrum) and was floored by how much I enjoyed it. The plot is a sexually explicit, gender-swapped My Fair Lady, but it’s really Hoang’s descriptions of how the protagonist navigates social situations that make it so delightful.
